Different terms used for Mawlid (‎ mawlidu n-nabiyyi) peace be upon him

mīlād is a term used to refer to the observance of the birthday of the Islamic prophet Muhammad which occurs in Rabi' al-awwal, the third month in the Islamic calendar.
